Photographer & Artist: For land, sea, and the more-than-human.David Ellingsen is a Canadian photo-based artist focused on contemporary issues of biodiversity and more-than-human life. Based in British Columbia, his environmental projects highlight the cascading crises of biodiversity loss, deforestation, pollution and climate breakdown. In partnership with these often challenging subjects, David maintains a long term, restorative practice making time-based landscape photographs in the Pacific Northwest.
